There is an image going around a few popular networking sites that states you can use a wax coloring crayon as a candle/light source if need be, and it will burn for thirty minutes. This is a curious idea, and definitely worth a trial. These pictures are from a friend who did the experiment:

This was done with Crayola brand crayons. I am curious if other brands might burn differently. This worked so well, one might consider getting their crayons blessed at the Feast of the Presentation in February. Or maybe not (but I think it's a fun idea).
